GreenFacts Africa Media Network is a social enterprise established to champion Africa’s Green Growth and Sustainable Development Agenda through storytelling, strategic call-to-action campaigns, training and capacity building.
We have a dedicated consortium of professionals from Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), Environment, Agriculture and Food Security, Animal Health and Welfare, Rights of Nature and Business fields with diverse perspectives and passions that fuel our work.
The team at GreenFacts Africa occupy the front-seats in driving social change that will ensure Africa’s Green Growth and Sustainable Development Agenda is realized through their technical expertise and innovative, out-of-the-box ideas. We are fired up to be your media partners, advocates, and biggest champions for a greener continent.
Our Approach
We believe that Africa’s Green Growth and Sustainable Development Agenda cannot be realised by simply utilizing the media – digital and traditional – to raise awareness on issues of climate change, environment, agriculture and food security, animal health and welfare and the rights of nature.
Instead, we are driving the desired social change through the art of storytelling and use of behavioural science to craft campaigns that use messaging and concrete calls to action that will change how people perceive and engage in exploitation of Mother Earth.
We will continue to work closely with communities, media, governments, private sector, local and international NGOs, and organisations such as the African Union (AU) and the United Nations (UN). And we’ll keep looking for new partners to help champion our cause.
