Building Climate Resilience. Strengthening Environmental Stewardship.

Environmental challenges require informed, independent, and responsible journalism. GreenFacts Africa supports the growth of environmental journalism as a critical tool for public education, accountability, and informed decision-making.

We work to strengthen the capacity of journalists and media platforms to report accurately, consistently, and compellingly on climate change, biodiversity, pollution, conservation, sustainability, and environmental governance.

What We Do

We develop and disseminate evidence-based content, convene public conversations, support stakeholder engagement, and promote knowledge sharing on emerging environmental and climate issues.

We seek to bridge the gap between policy, science, communities, and the public—helping turn climate and environmental commitments into practical action.

Our Focus Areas

  • Climate change adaptation and mitigation
  • Climate resilience and locally led climate action
  • Environmental governance and accountability
  • Climate policy and public participation
  • Biodiversity conservation and ecosystem protection
  • Sustainable natural resource management
  • Climate finance and green investment
  • Environmental justice and equity
  • The green and circular economy
